July 9th saw the annual Praze Fair show in the village of Praze an Beeble. It’s reputed to be the oldest one day show in Cornwall and Storylines was there. Even though the weather was miserable it felt like a fitting end to our ‘Linking Lifetimes’ Project and a great opportunity to showcase all the work we had done in the village over the last year to a wider community.

We found a cosy corner in the main marquee and welcomed people from far and wide to hear about our exploits in the village and some of the stories that had emerged.

We met people whose family members were part of the project, children from Crenver class excited to show their parents their work and strangers just intrigued to hear about this exciting project and to share their own stories.

display2Storylines is currently seeking funding to extend the project and ensure that all the stories collected are archived on a website and celebrated in a sumptuous book.
