  • Video Thumbnail'Guardians of the Reef’ is a project that is uncovering and sharing stories of shellfishing in South Devon through a series of heritage events, exhibitions and film screenings. Funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund and delivered in partnership by Community Interest Company Storylines and the South Devon and Channel Shellfishermen Association, ‘Guardians of the Reef’ is spending time recording the memories of fishermen, many whose families have fished for generations, and transforming these into a series of digital stories, films and displays. This film gives a snapshot of the first collection days in a fishermen's store on Fish Quay in Salcombe in October 2017. The next collection days will take place at the Cricket Inn in Beesands on the 13th, 14th and 15th November 2017 from 11am-3pm each day. The events are free and everyone is welcome so pop in for a yarn! For more visit- www.storylines.org.uk/project/guardians-of-the-reef/
