We all have stories

We all have stories and there is great value in listening to each other. Storylines is a Community Interest Company, which supports people, organisations and communities to unearth and creatively share personal stories. We offer a range of services that are shaped around the people we work with, and often include the use of digital story, these include-

The majority of Storylines work in delivered in collaboration, enabling us to benefit a wide range of people of all ages. Storylines have experience working across a range of sectors including social, cultural, heritage and environmental. Our past clients include the National Maritime Museum Cornwall, Tate St.Ives, the Hall for Cornwall, Cornwall Council, PK Porthcurno, Bude Climate Partnership, and the University of Exeter, as well as numerous community groups and creative practitioners.

We use a variety of creative approaches together with digital storytelling, which provide a fantastic way to celebrate and creatively share stories. A digital story is a short (3-5 minutes), accessible film that feature a first-hand story, accompanied by images or video. Digital storytelling is an extremely powerful and therapeutic process and this journey is just as important as the outcome.

Time and again Storylines hears amazing stories of resilient and hard-working women who have contributed to local communities and regional industries, yet these invaluable contributions remain largely unshared, often hidden in people’s memories and attics.
