When putting digital stories and podcasts out into the world you never know who is going to listen and what impact they might have. It was a lovely surprise to see the Gwelan podcast discussed in a recent Guardian piece on ‘8 Great UK winter walks.’ Listening to the Gwelan podcast as she walks, the journalist gained insights into Mounts Bay’s history, culture and environment through the stories of those who live and work here. It was our hope and intention that people deepen their knowledge of this unique landscape, as well as exploring their own relationship with it, so it was great to read how the podcasts added meaning to the walk.
