Over this past year Storylines Sarah has joined an inspiring group of social entrepreneurs on the SSE Trade Up programme. A graduation event held at the Eden Project was a great way to end the programme and celebrate everyone’s journey.
Anyone who knows us knows that we are terrible at shouting about our work and the amazing impact we know it to have. Much more comfortable with listening than talking, giving a speech was rather daunting for Sarah! However these points of reflection are important and it was a fantastic opportunity to share what we do.
The Cornwall School of Social Entrepeneurs was invaluable to Storylines when we were starting up 9 years ago, so it was great to be selected for the Trade Up programme. It has been a valuable opportunity to reflect, grow and learn and sharing the experience with an incredible group of people made it all the more special.
As part of this period of reflection (and realising how bad we are at promoting our work) we worked with the talented illustrator/designer Marilia to create a series of postcards to share our services. If you are interested in our work, or know someone who might be, then get in touch and we can post you a set. We have also updated a lot of our services on our website.
A big thank you to Cornwall SSE for their ongoing support.
