Gemma Kempthorne with children from Altarnun school
Another great workshop at Rosehip Barn on Trefranck Farm this week. This time we welcomed Altarnun School to the farm, working with year 3 & 4 into the barn. Over the day the children learnt about the history of the farm/barn through the story of ‘The Cats of Trefranck.’
They then did some wonderful site-specific movement work with Gemma, had a tour of the farm, told plenty of stories and wove some of these stories onto sheep hurdles in the barn. With over half of the group from farming families we had plenty to share.
