This week we had a brilliant time at Rosehip Barn at Trefranck Farm, working with the children of South Petherwin school to respond to farm visits with movement and art. The children learnt about the history of the barn and the farm through this short story, told by Mrs.Tibbs chief mouse catcher on Bodmin Moor!

Over the 3 days the children all responded with movement work with Gemma Kempthorne, who lives at Trefranck, and also produced their own barn, complete with animals.
This amazing structure was produced by working with every child at the school and is 6 foot high and 15 foot long! More photos of the children at work to follow soon…
