Heather's Story- Childhood memories of farming in Cornwall from StoryLines on Vimeo.

Here is another digital story that we have made by editing down an oral history interview and linking this with images. This is the story of Heather Rogers, a livestock farmer from near St.Ives. This story gives a taster of Heathers life on the farm and will also be used as a starting point for learning and creativity in our forthcoming schools work.

In short Heather is a star! Spending time with Heather is always a pleasure and her warm kitchen is always busy with visitors. Cups of tea and cake is a must with Heather and her stories can entertain for hours.

In this story Heather reminisces about growing up on the farm and the changes she has witnessed over her lifetime. (There may also be a story of a cow tossing her neighbour over the hedge!)
Thank you Heather for your time and laughter.

I live in a town called Wishaw in Scotland, and I visited the Rodger’s in helsvior farm 68 years ago and knew Jeff, Heather, and Catherine. I would like to get in contact with Heather again.
