Over the last year Sarah from Storylines, has been supported by the Cornwall School of Social Entrepreneurs programme. This has provided Storylines with valuable support and guidance around the business side of running a social enterprise, as well as a small grant that has allowed us to buy some (rather exciting!) kit. We had the ideas, the motivation, belief and of course stories, but this programme has given us the business acumen to make sure that we grow sustainably and keep on top of our paperwork (not always a nice prospect!). It has also allowed us to meet some amazing people who are doing truly remarkable, and much needed work. Im sure many collaborations will grow out of these relationships and would highly recommend this course to anyone thinking about setting up a social enterprise- it’s been an amazing journey.

Lots of press about this this week which is great- here’s the article from the Western Morning News…
