Summer is here and ‘Tallys an Tir‘ is all go! Over the next couple of weeks we will be at a number of events, showing some of the work we have been collecting over the project.
This includes a spot at the Penzance Literary Festival where we will be at the Open Shed between 2-3pm on Saturday 20th July. Here we will be talking about ‘Tallys an Tir‘ and sharing some of the stories that we have been collecting. There will also be time for sharing memories within this session, so we look forward to hearing some of your tales.
On the same day it’s Lafrowda Day in St.Just; a traditional day of festivities, including processions, music, displays and food. For this we will be displaying the Artwork created by St.Just and Pendeen Primary Schools, as well as a selection of local stories. This display will be in St.Just School Hall all day.
The following week we are having an exhibition of the paintings, video work, installations and sculpture created through our work Primary Schools around Cornwall, at Heartlands. It will be great to see all the Artwork, with all the hard work behind it, together in one space.
